WELCOME
We’re Adam and Caitlin Kuchemba, the husband and wife team behind Camp Kuch. Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, we lived in Philadelphia for ten years before moving back to to our native NEPA to call the Pocono Mountains home. We purchased our home in Pocono Lake in 2019 and have since been renovating it to take it out of the 1980’s.
All of the work on the home has been done fully by us…
(except some electrical and HVAC work and the installation of a new roof…but those projects are best left to the professionals). Beyond ourselves, we also relied on the help of a few friends and family members when we needed an extra hand too. Caitlin (a wedding planner and designer by trade - you can check out her other biz Clover Event Co.) is a the main designer of the home, while Adam brings an equally good design eye along with a long list of handy skills and a garage full of tools to help bring every project to life.
While we started with our own home, it’s now our goal to help modernize the Poconos one house at a time and be a part of the movement to bring the Poconos back to the destination it always was.
We love living in this neck of the woods and hope to see more people call this budding region home in the coming years.
And lastly, our story wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t introduce you to our Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon, Susquehanna (aka Susque), named after the river that we both grew up along. He’s a big helper on demo and renovation days and loves hanging in the garage with Adam or doing his favorite thing, taking a ride in the truck.
